Growth in prayer is at the center of our parish for both individuals and as a community. Prayer is lifting our minds and hearts to the Lord. It is opening our souls more so that the Lord can bring us growth in holiness and deeper union with Him. The Triune God, Who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is a perfect Communion of Divine Persons. Furthermore, He established His Church so that even one's individual redemption happens in a communal way. Thus the more we are in union with God, the more we grow in union with our brothers and sisters, which is shown through our mutual charity.
Our world and church need prayers. The culture often says prayers are useless or childish. FALSE! Jesus Himself took time to pray, and He commands us to pray as well. Do not be afraid or embarrassed. The Lord wants to hear from you. He wants to talk with you and bestow His graces on you. Pray!

If you would like to request an intention to be placed on our prayer line for others to include in their prayer, please call (330-724-1263) or email the rectory ([email protected]).
Be sure to check this page often for prayer intentions. We ask that you take a moment right now and pray for the intentions on this page. Need help getting started? Try this:
Eternal Father,
by Your Son's saving death and resurrection,
You offer salvation.
I unite my heart to the heart of Jesus
Who continually intercedes for us.
By the power of the Holy Spirit
Who moves us and draws us closer to You,
I offer my prayer for ______
(Here add our parish intentions or any other intentions you have.
Offer them in your own words).
O Lord, You bring all things to good.
In Your Will is our joy.
I ask this prayer in communion
with all the parishioners of St. Paul Parish,
with Your Holy Church throughout the world
and in union with all the saints,
especially the Blessed Virgin Mary.
I love You O Lord and beseech You,
hear my prayer through Your Son our Lord Jesus Christ
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever.
Amen
Our Father ...
Hail Mary ...
Glory be ...
