Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist Ministry to the Homebound

Open to adult parishioners as nominated by the pastor and commissioned by the Diocese of Cleveland. Eucharistic Ministers assist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ at Mass and to the homebound.

Nursing Home Visitation

Open to any parishioner who is willing to visit elderly parishioners in nursing homes.

Van Transportation to Mass

Open to any parishioner who wishes to come to 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday but is unable to drive or does not have access to transportation.

Van Drivers

Open to any parishioner who is willing to drive the parish van to transport parishioners to Sunday 9:00 a.m. Mass.

Lenten Soup Suppers Ministry

All parishioners and families are eligible to attend and participate. Beginning the second Wednesday of Lent through the Wednesday of Holy Week, simple soup suppers are prepared and served in Boeke Hall. Following supper, Scripture reading and reflection prayer are shared.

St. Paul Prayer Line Ministry

Anyone willing to pray for those in need. To contact by phone all on the line to pray for anyone who calls with a prayer request.

Bereavement Support Group

Open to anyone who has had a death or loss and is in need of understanding and support through group sharing. Sessions are held twice a year for five weeks on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Activity Center. Co-facilitators are Terry Nesline (330-724-1263), Dora Weigand (330-773-7250), and Dorothy Christner (330-535-8225).

Sorrowful Mothers Ministry

Any parishioner may volunteer to help by preparing a side dish or dessert for the funeral luncheon for the family members of the deceased. The luncheons are served in Boeke Hall following the funeral Mass, and gives friends and family a time to visit and share memories of the deceased.
